About
I'm Miguel Martínez Mestre, a software developer based in Madrid.
How I like to work
I take pride in solving problems myself, and I don't pretend that's the whole job. Asking for help, and working with other people, is often how you get to a better result. I care about quality — not as a slogan, but as the difference between something that ships once and something a team can keep.
Learning new languages, tools, and methods is normal work for me, not a side hobby I mention in interviews.
What I'm into
Most of my attention sits between frontend and backend: TypeScript, Next.js, Nest.js, TanStack Query, TanStack Router, Cloudflare Workers, Convex. I'm also following large language models, React Native, and both SQL and document databases. Earlier work has included Node.js services, cloud deployments, and wiring up third-party APIs.
